I use mixed media to create kinetic fountains, installations, drawings, and paintings. These materials are subverted into political and social commentary, personal issues and narrative. Nature increasingly plays a role in my work, through observational imagery as well as by incorporating natural matter. As an avid gardener, I include plants whenever feasible. These organic elements connect me to their magical places of origin. My recent themes focus on nature as refuge.
